Buzzsaw would have you know he is far more sophisticated than the rest of the Decepticon riff-raff, operating on a level the likes of violent thugs like Frenzy can only hope to comprehend. He looks down on other Decepticons, both figuratively and literally, speaking in a condescending, dismissive manner. Buzzsaw's attitude does little to endear him to his fellow Decepticon warriors, and neither does his hypocrisy. For all his high-minded talk, and acting like he's so superior to his comrades, Buzzsaw is every bit as destructive and cruel as the other Decepticons, who he so pretentiously looks down on. Buzzsaw likes nothing more than sadistically reducing an Autobot to scrapmetal, blasting them to pieces one servo at a time. But in Buzzsaw's mind at least, his two sides are not contradictory. He sees himself as an artist, and each new victim as a blank canvas on which to craft a new masterpiece. For Buzzsaw, the systematic dismantling of an Autobot is a work of art; he executes Autobots with a careful, reasoned approach, a symphony of pain and suffering. He is one of the best shots among the Decepticon ranks, infamously defeating Omega Sentinels with extremely precise shots delivered to critical systems, and Buzzsaw even once brought the mighty Omega Supreme to his knees. While most Decepticons cannot stand Buzzsaw's attitude or his ego, they do at least respect his skill and dedication to his craft.

Most of my comments about Laserbeak apply to Buzzsaw. This figure is a tiny marvel of engineering. I cannot believe how well the guy unfolds from a flat cassette shape into a fully realised condor, complete with the boosters on his back. It's some incredible engineering which represents the Masterpiece line at its best.
